Permanent brows in Tbilisi: powder brows, day-by-day healing and price

Brows frame the face. They change your expression, make the eyes look more open and youthful, and make the whole face look groomed. But drawing your brows every morning with pencil, powder or gel takes time, and the result is not always symmetrical. Permanent brows solve that: your brows are always ready — the moment you wake up, after the gym, in the pool and at the sea.

What are permanent brows?

Permanent brows (also called a brow tattoo or semi-permanent brows) place pigment into the upper layers of the skin using a special device and a very fine needle. Unlike a regular tattoo, the pigment sits close to the surface, so it fades gradually over time and the shape can be refreshed.

Powder brows — what they are and who they suit

Powder brows are the most requested style. The pigment is placed as tiny dots, so the brow looks softly filled in, as if with brow powder or shadow: soft, natural and even. Often the front of the brow is lighter and the colour deepens slightly towards the tail, which gives the face natural depth.

This style works especially well if:

• your brows are thin, sparse or very light;
• your brows are asymmetric or have lost their shape;
• you draw your brows on every day and want that time back;
• you have oily skin — fine hair-stroke lines can blur on oily skin, while a powder effect holds its look better.

How the procedure goes

1. Consultation — we talk about the result you want and choose a shade to match your hair, skin and eye colour.
2. Sketch — the brow shape is drawn to your facial proportions. You check it in the mirror, and we only start once you are happy.
3. Numbing — a local anaesthetic cream makes the procedure comfortable.
4. Pigment — applied in several passes until the density is right.
5. Aftercare advice — you leave with detailed instructions for the following days.

Healing day by day

• Days 1–3: the brows are much darker and sharper than the final result. That is normal — the colour will lighten by roughly 30–50%.
• Days 4–10: fine flaking begins. Let the flakes fall off by themselves.
• Weeks 2–3: the colour may look very light — it is under the new skin and gradually comes back.
• After 4–6 weeks: the touch-up evens out the colour and finalises the shape.

Aftercare

• Treat the brows only with the product Nini recommends;
• Do not pick the flakes or scratch — the colour may heal patchy;
• Keep the brows dry and free of makeup for the first days;
• For two weeks avoid the sauna, pool, sea, sunbeds and intense workouts;
• Later on, use SPF on your brows in the sun — the colour lasts longer.

How long do permanent brows last?

1–3 years on average. On oily skin, with a lot of sun or regular peels the colour fades faster; on dry skin, more slowly. When the brows have visibly faded, a refresh is all you need.

Permanent brows or lamination?

Both make brows look groomed, but they solve different problems. Lamination shapes your own hairs and works best when brows are full.
