Injectable cosmetology has become as routine as a manicure: it's quick, there's no surgery, and when it's done well the result looks natural. But most people have the same question: filler or Botox? Biorevitalization or polynucleotides? In this article we explain in plain words what each treatment is for, how long it lasts, what cosmetology in Tbilisi costs at SANLE and what to know before your appointment.

Filler or Botox — what's the difference?

The two are often confused, but they do very different things:

• Filler (hyaluronic acid) fills: it adds volume and shape to the lips, cheekbones, chin and jawline. You see the result straight away.
• Botox relaxes the muscle: it softens expression lines (forehead, between the brows, crow's feet). It starts working in 3–14 days and usually lasts 3–4 months.

In one line: lines from movement → Botox; lost volume or shape → filler.

Lip shaping with filler

Lip filler doesn't only add volume — it also corrects asymmetry, sharpens the outline and hydrates the lips. With the right amount the result is natural: "your lips, just better".

• Korean filler — from 350₾ — a good choice for a first treatment.
• European filler — 450–700₾ — premium products; the price depends on the product.
• Hyaluronic lip filler usually lasts 6–12 months, depending on your body and lifestyle.

Facial contouring with filler: cheekbones, jaw, chin

Filler can rebalance your facial proportions without surgery:

• Cheekbone contouring — the face looks fresher and more lifted.
• Jawline contouring — a clean, defined jaw.
• Chin correction — a more harmonious profile.

Price: cheekbones from ₾350, jawline and chin ₾300–1000. The total depends on how much filler you need; the cosmetologist will tell you at the consultation.

Barbie Botox

• Barbie Botox — 550–600₾ — face, neck and shoulders in one treatment: expression lines soften and the neck and shoulder line looks slimmer and more elegant.

Skin quality: biorevitalization, polynucleotides, PDRN

These treatments don't change your features — they renew the skin from within:

• Biorevitalization — 250–450₾ — hyaluronic acid into the skin: deep hydration, glow and softer fine lines. Perfect for autumn and winter, when central heating dries the skin.
• Polynucleotides — 200–350₾ (face and décolleté, 34 amino acids) — restore tired, thin skin and improve elasticity and tone.

Chemical peel and plasma therapy

How to prepare, and when not to

2–3 days before, avoid alcohol and aspirin to lower the risk of bruising. Come with a clean face, no makeup.

After the treatment: - don't touch or massage your face on the first day; - avoid sauna, hot baths and tanning beds for 1–2 weeks; - after Botox, don't lie down or bend over for 4 hours; - a little swelling or bruising is normal and passes in a few days.

Injections are not done if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have inflammation or a cold sore at the injection site, have a fever, or take blood thinners. Tell the cosmetologist about any illness or medication in advance.
