Brow Lamination in Winter: Why the Cold Season Is the Best Time and How to Care for Your Brows
Brow lamination in winter: why it lasts longer in the cold season, how to protect brows from wind and dry heating, and how long the shape holds. SANLE, Tbilisi.

Winter is hard on brows: wind, cold, hats and dry, heated indoor air dry out the hairs and break the shape. That is why many people choose brow lamination in the cold season — a treatment that makes your own brows look fuller and neater without daily gel or pencil. Here is why winter is a good time for lamination and how to care for your brows in the cold so the result lasts.
Why winter is a good time for lamination
In summer the main enemies of lamination are sun, sweat, pool chlorine and salty sea water — they wash the formula out and the shape fades sooner. In winter there is almost none of that, so:
- the shape lasts longer — often 6–8 weeks;
- the tint fades less, because there is no strong sun bleaching the pigment;
- for the holiday season — New Year, parties, photos — your brows are ready and your mornings are shorter.
If this is your first lamination, start with our detailed guide to brow lamination: how it is done, who it suits and how it differs from permanent brows.

What winter does to your brows
- Wind and cold dry the hairs out, make them brittle and unable to hold a shape.
- Heating and dry air make the skin on the forehead and under the brows flake, and the hairs lose their shine.
- Hats pulled low press the brows down all day and flatten them.
- Hot showers — hot steam softens the lamination formula quickly.
How to care for laminated brows in the cold
The first 24 hours
The formula is still setting: keep the brows dry, no cream or make-up on them, don't sleep face-down and don't wear a hat that touches them.
Every day
- every evening apply a few drops of oil (castor, argan or almond) or a nourishing brow serum;
- in the morning brush the hairs upwards with a clean spoolie — the shape comes straight back;
- wash your face with warm, not hot, water;
- keep scrubs and peels away from the brow area.
Going outside
Wear your hat so it doesn't press on the brows; in strong wind a thin layer of oil or petroleum jelly protects them.
How long brow lamination lasts in winter
As a rule, the result holds for 6–8 weeks in winter — about a week or two longer than in summer. The hairs gradually return to their natural direction. You can repeat the treatment every 6–8 weeks; more often is not needed, so the hairs get time to rest.
Lamination or lamination with tint
In winter, when the face is paler, many choose lamination with tint: the tint makes the brows more defined and fills in fine, light hairs. If your brows are already dark and thick, lamination alone is enough.
Brow lamination price at SANLE
At SANLE brow lamination costs from 90₾, lamination with tint — from 100₾, and brow shaping — from 25₾. The treatment takes about 1 hour.
