What are highlights?

Aftercare

• do not wash your hair for the first 2–3 days, so the tone can settle;
• use shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair, and a repairing mask once a week;
• if the strands turn yellow, use a purple shampoo once a week;
• use a hair dryer and flat iron only with heat protection;
• protect your hair from the sun and in the pool — UV light and chlorine change the colour;
• highlights usually need refreshing every 2–3 months, depending on how fast your hair grows.
